As we are discovered more online than ever before, it is important that we have an excellent image to represent ourselves. How much can you express in one (small profile) image that can be quickly seen? A great headshot should help tell a story about a person rather than just be a representation of how they physically look. It is the photographer’s job to help interpret how someone wants to look. Do you want to look casual, professional, approachable, serious and an endless list of other attributes? How does this relate to how you want to be instantly recognized as being? Everyone is unique and that is why I do not believe in conveyer belt photography void of personality.
