The images in this portfolio were created for many different purposes. Fashion photography can often be interpreted as a style rather than the purpose of illustrating clothing. It is the intent rather than the content and style that defines the type of photography. I have put a few categories into the same gallery.
As a creative person I am interested in technique and as fashion photography is often deemed as invested in breaking ground in image making, assignments have allowed me to create visually rich, dynamic, engaging imagery. I am interested in how locations and model’s expressions build drama within an image.
My personal style is typically colorful, graphic, employing shape created by posing, using dynamic lighting with gels and creative post production. However the requirement of the job is more important than my style.
